- 500 grams of sausage meat from Safeway (Safeway has nice texture and is beef, do not buy it at coles -it has wrong texture and is defined as meat, but no more info – ie not beef)
- 1 Large onion
- Sweet chilli sauce
- Mixed herbs (optional) – 1 tablespoon (or more to taste)
- Puff pastry sheets (3 sheets max needed)
- Egg wash for your pastry
Instructions:
Get pastry out of freezer
Turn oven on to 180°c – NOT FAN FORCED (i don’t know temp of fan forced assume lower)
Cut the end of the sausagemeat tube , very close to the metal fastener
Now spin the other end to squeeze out the meat into a large bowl
Dice your onion
Add chilli sauce to taste – I use about 1 tablespoon but if you are mental add more
Add herbs now if you wish – optional
Stir together
Put sausage mixture in a line around 1/3 of way in from one long edge
Fold edge to midpoint of the pastry sheet
Cut the sheet in half now
Use fork to squish the edges together
Egg wash outside of pastry for brownification
Slice into 1 to 2 inch slices – up to you how big
Put on greased\papered baking tray
Put in oven for about 15 minutes – look for golden brownness
